  • Root Canals – You can trust us with advanced procedures like root canals with our state-of-the-art technology systems and qualified expert help.

  • Tooth Extractions – When your tooth is damaged beyond reasonable repair, our advanced tooth extractions can help to restore your teeth to its original shape and function

Post-Operational Surgical Care

Post-operation surgical care is very important, and you should follow your dentist’s instructions to avoid future complications from emerging.

Patients should refrain from:

  • Chewing for at least two hours following your surgical procedure, and for

  • In the first few days, your diet should be limited to softer foods

  • Hard, chewy, and spicy foods should be avoided in terms of pain management

After-Care Tips

We will most likely advise an over-the-counter (O-T-C) medication to use or prescribe a stronger pain reliever if the discomfort is severe. By the following day after the extraction, a blood clot will start to form around the site.

If swelling persists, a cold compress can help reduce the inflammation, and for persistent bleeding, biting down gently but securely on a moistened tea bag for about 15 minutes. A warm saltwater gargle should be done three times daily for about a week to help with the healing process.

Lastly, it is imperative that you maintain greater precaution when brushing and flossing, especially around the wound site, and sustain your oral health at a proficient level to prevent the need for any more teeth extractions.
